Ethan Cordes
Ethan completed his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry at Washington University in St. Louis. During this time, he investigated how the post-transcriptional modification of the telomerase RNA component could increase its stability in dyskeratosis congenita patient cells. Furthermore, Ethan contributed to a genetic annotation project aimed at better understanding genome architecture and expansion. Currently, Ethan’s scientific interests include non-coding RNA biology and the mechanisms of neurodegeneration while his hobbies outside the lab include skiing, hiking, cooking, and reading.
