Gloria Huang
Gloria (Yige) Huang graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering. During undergrad, she worked on DNA nanoengineering with Dr. Yonggang Ke at Emory University. She also spent one summer at Memorial Sloan Kettering as a summer research intern. Gloria’s past experience built her strong interest in translational research.
In the Gan Lab, she is interested in understanding how neuroinflammation contributes to Alzheimer’s disease pathology, especially through the lens of microglia neuron interaction. Outside of the lab, Gloria enjoys cooking and trying out new restaurants. She also loves stargazing and photography.
