Taewoo Kim, PhD
Taewoo Kim received his Ph.D. at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), specifically within the Graduate School of Medical Science and Engineering. His research there was focused on exploring genomic and transcriptomic changes at the single-cell level during radiation exposure and SARS-CoV-2 infection.
He joined the Tilgner and Gan Labs in 2024 as a postdoctoral researcher, where he will investigate isoform change in neurodegeneration at the single-cell level. In his free time, he likes exploring the city.
